Our goal is for each participant in our programs to develop a superior sense of self confidence and savvy when it comes to life’s social situations. Our Director Mrs. Brannon has taught manners and etiquette for over fifteen years. She initially began conducting manners instruction workshops while enrolled as an undergraduate at the University of Georgia and working part-time with the Athens, Georgia Boys and Girls Clubs. Her experiences as an “Army Brat” have provided her with endless opportunities to participate in social settings where military protocol was required. These experiences were continued as the wife of a U.S. Marine Corps Officer stationed at The Pentagon where she was involved in functions that included the participation of the Vice President of the United States, Commandant of the U.S. Marine Corps, and other senior Administration officials. Mrs. Brannon has coordinated and conducted meetings, briefings, luncheons and formal dining occasions where invited guests included members of Congress and high ranking political appointees, including former South Carolina Governor and U. S. Department of Education Secretary The Honorable Richard Riley. Mrs. Brannon has coordinated trainings for education professionals on how to effectively interact and communicate with elected officials and congressional staffers. In this capacity, she has had numerous opportunities for interaction with America’s Congressmen and Congresswomen. She is comfortable working side by side with dignitaries, politicians and celebrities. Her experiences both personally and professionally have provided years of opportunities to excel at social poise and grace. |
